How to Measure Your Foot

Tracing Method

The tracing method is the most accessible way to measure your foot at home. Place a blank piece of paper on a hard floor against a wall. Stand with your heel touching the wall and your foot flat on the paper. Hold a pencil vertically and trace around the outline of your entire foot, keeping the pencil perpendicular to the paper throughout. Measure the distance from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe in centimeters or inches. For the most accurate result, measure both feet and use the larger measurement, as feet are rarely identical in size. Half Sizes and Width
