It will surprise you that a lot of people still do. Well, at least I am a big shopper of cookbooks. Find your niche and start creating.
Let me share some practical ways you could monetize eBooks.
If you have Amazon KDP, this is a goldmine for fiction and children’s story niche.
That is not all. You will find many sellers creating game books like:

- Crossword puzzle collections
- Word search books
- Coloring books for adults and kids
- Maze books
- Dot-to-dot books
- Trivia and quiz books
- Journal and planner templates
- Activity books for children
I was also successful with eBooks in 2024, and here were some of my sales from back then. However, I cannot say the same for 2026 though.
This niche expired and sales dropped. Also, this was not an AI generated eBook back then. But what matters is that it was a trending niche.

And if you are thinking, what about selling eBooks on Etsy?
Be ready for some serious competition. There is even one guy or girl offering 6 million eBooks for 1 euro.
Do not be like that person. Carve out your niche and position yourself as premium. The thing about Etsy is you can just list things and forget it. People would just organically find your stuff one day. It costs you nothing but your upload time. Well, and a few cents of listing fee.
